CEO of Twitter bans all political advertising worldwide

In an uncharacteristically clear, decisive and confident tone Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter, announced today that the social network would be banning all political advertising worldwide.

The central theme of the thread is that political reach on systems as complex and still yet unknown as global social networks must be organic and never paid. There are too many systems that influence platforms like Twitter and other social networks that are too little understood leading to a significant, sometimes majority of interactions powered by fabricated or manipulated network effects and outcomes.
